Prayer of Welcome

Aegletes, who guides our illumination, we hold our doors open to You, unlocked, keys held out in tribute. Come as serenely as the first breath of waking. Come as assuredly as the autumn chill. We, Your family, have prepared a fine seat at our table, just for You.

O Lord, we bear You many gifts, the most valuable of all being our reverence and joy at Your arrival. So enter here, where the incense is pungent and thick, and where the wine flows, pleasingly. Come, please, that we may honor You, Apollon Aegletes, Light of this World.
